Casserole




I double the recipe for my family. This has turned into a family favorite and was taken off the bag of noodles bought at Sam's.

1 Can cream soup of choice (or use Michelle's recipe for cream soup sub.) See below
1/2 Cup sour cream
3/4 Cup milk
1/2 Cup mayonnaise
7 Oz can tuna (or your own boned chicken) s
1 Cup grated cheese (I use mozzarella)
2 Tbl parsley
1/2 Tsp salt & pepper
1 Tbl lemon juice
3 Cup cooked Country Pasta Noodle

Combine all ingredients. Pour into 1 1/2 quart shallow baking dish. (I fit a double recipe in 9x13.) Top with cracker or bread crumbs. Bake 45 minutes at 350. Top with extra grated cheese if desired during last 15 minutes.


Michelle's cream soup substitute --

(I use 1 recipe of this in my doubled recipe for the casserole)
4 T butter
4 T flour
1 tsp broth powder
cook 1 minute
add 1 cup milk
stir 'til thickened

It will thicken a lot....don't be impatient like me.
